Not a bad price if you don't mind the manual chute and no steering triggers. I think I would go with the HSS for a few bucks more.

I don't mind spending money, I mind wasting money.

what was the last year for the HS? 2015?

wonder if they will still give you a warranty with this one.

Yes, they will. Warranty starts when the unit is sold (and registered). If it is still brand new, they’ll give you 3 years warranty despite the fact that it was made in 2014-2015.

I'm going to blame that on the drugs. I just let the internet take me wherever it wants to

Maybe they are on sale to get rid of them since they are discounted according to Snowblowers Direct ,from what they say they have none in stock,"Discounted" because they will be doing improvements on the 2018/2019 models,I wonder if the chute design on the HSS models will be one of the improvements or a bigger Engine for the 928 model."Curious"

Pfft! Local dealer has the HSS928 listed on their site between $4099 and $4549 depending on model. Three listed one 2017 & 2018 are the same price.

A basic no frills HSS622 is listed at $2599. They've gone up quite a bit since my purchase 3 years ago. I know the Canadian dollar is bad butt.......
