Holy crap. Pretty mild tread, though. It could use chains It would make a heck of a cheese grater, for full wheels of cheese!

I remember those machines from the 60's. Growing up my neighbor had one, it left cool designs in the snow banks with that auger. I don't think it was a craftsman, Eskimo comes to mind.

If I can't fix it, I can screw it up so bad that no one else can either!

There was a company in Minnesota that made a self propelled one. There was one for sale here a couple years back but I could never get the seller to name a price. Since almost everything on it is no longer available and it wasn't in running condition I sure didn't feel like offering much but it sure would have been a cool machine to get running and restore.

The company is still in business but they exited the snowblower line many decades ago. Original Company | Jacobs Wind Electric

that pretty cool looking. i think it would be fun to play with even tho it would likely take forever to clear a driveway.
