i guess you got to do what you got to do to keep the snow moving. i know i wouldn't wanted to look at the price tag of a new motor for that thing

Exactly! IMO, it's still a reasonable price if the rest of the machine is sound...esp the hydro. The bucket looks straight and augers still serrated. Repainted?

Yes its been repainted. Not sure what brand the engine is. If it works good and everything is as it should be hydro, tranny and all ya its a fair price.

It looks like a 7hp tecumseh with the flat heater box.

Sno-Tek Modded, 15"X-Track tires (Now has same X-Track tires but 13"x4" for better fit), 254cc engine LED light and hand warmers.
Snapper 6/22 sold but not forgotten. Was my first.
Ariens ST1027LE workhorse and going strong.
New 2017 Ariens Deluxe completely rebuilt after losing a fight with a forklift.

It's an old (60's - 70's era) tecumseh; expect points and the plunger/pull prime...guessing 5hp.

definitely old engine but as long as it runs it really isn't that bad of a deal. heck even if you decided to yank that engine and stick a predator engine on it it would still be a pretty decent deal for a pretty solid looking machine.

price is close to right IMO ( depending on condition of everything else except the Tecumseh engine ) . throw on a Honda engine from a donor or Predator.

I'm thinking an H50 also with that gas tank, mid to late 1970's maybe?

I kinda like it. Won't be another like it anywhere.
