It was already pending pickup when I saw it
Why was it free, stripped spark plug hole.

you may be able to use that special tool to chase and clean spark plug holes. it has worked for me on several occasions. just depends how bad damage is.

be sure to use grease on it so bits don't fall into cylinder.

Good score Mark. I would go with a new head, which you probably have some where in the stock pile.

I would have tried chasing them first, helicoil second and new/used head and gasket worst case. Sure looks like it would have been a nice keeper or a great flip
