2011 Ariens 24 AMP Snow Blowers

I didn't know they made a battery powered snow blower.

Indeed they did. I can't recall how the run time was....or did the batteries even last (batteries are very sensative if you don't keep them charged, sulphate, etc).

I recall seeing 2 mint ones one CL being sold for pennies...
That summed up how good or bad they were to me for a ROI....

From everything I have read, those that bought them seem to like them..the product line probably failed not because there was anything was wrong with them, but because they didn't sell well enough.
Its probably like battery powered cars at this point in their evolution: they work fine, but for 90% of average buyers, they simply aren't worth the added expense of being "green"..

Ariens made them for four years: 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.

That would be a perfect companion to a Chevy Volt!

I'm sure there's a "watts" joke in there somewhere, but it's not coming to me at the moment...

~1994 Ariens 924084 (ST1032) "papa bear": restored, re-engined, real nice!
1991 Ariens 924050 (ST824) "mama bear"
Toro PowerCurve 1800 "baby bear"

Be alert! America needs more lerts.
