That would be so worth the whole $100 so you wouldn't have to sand or sandblast, prime, paint and pay for new decals.
At least for me it would be a good deal compared to doing all the work to get it to that condition and I'd turn around and put my old one up to recoup some of that one's cost. That's a win, win !!
Most of the stuff I do is buy and flip - not restorations. If I had one I was resorting for myself I would consider it a good deal. On a machine I can only sell for $300 or so it's not a deal. Those TRS machines are very well made though - it's tempting. I'll let it smolder for awhile, if he doesn't get any interest I may throw him the offer he can't refuse.
