Purdy 1970 Ariens Sno Throw

1970 Ariens Sno Thro 7/24 near Rah-chah-chah for $480.

(I wouldn't be surprised if this is an SBF member...and he/she stored this machine in the living room...wow!)

"1970 Ariens 7/24 Snow Blower in Excellent Original Condition.

This is an Ariens classic that was washed, waxed and serviced every year since new, by the original owner. It's in remarkable original condition, and I've completely gone through it with all the maintenance related work. This is not a re-paint, but I did spend quite a bit of time servicing and fine-cleaning it to bring it back as close to 'like new' condition as possible.

I dismantled it, and did replace the points & condensor, the high speed auger bearing, cleaned the fuel system, new rubber line, de-carboned the head. The cylinder wall is perfect (no wear).

It features the factory installed electric start and the locking differential axle.

These machines were built to last, and there's many older ones still out there still doing what they were designed to do. The simplicity of this era machine makes it a pleasure to use, and if you happen to have the desire to own an excellent example of an early Ariens, this one's for you.

This machine was used every year, and this one shows what a little care and cleaning resulted in. It's hard to find this high standard of quality and engineering in the snowblowers being sold today.

Asking $480 O.B.O.

Please contact me through CL email, and include your phone number so that I know it's a legitimate reply. I'll get back to you ASAP!

If this ad is here, it's still available.

Thanks"
