Very disappointed

22 inch Craftsman snow blower snow thrower. $100
So I call the owner and go see it. It won't move forward. I look underneath to see a tiny gearbox with the cable and everything seemingly attached and adjusted. ( these blowers come without a bottom cover apparently. There are no screw holes or any other type of fastener provision on the bottom. The machine was very clean but the skids were never adjusted so scraper bar was pretty badly boogered up. The big disappointments were the augers and impeller. Impeller is made of some really cheap feeling plastic and it was very poorly fitted and had LOTS of play. The augers are really just a step above a pop can. You could actually hear them clanging when they were engaged. It's the cheapest constructed blower I have ever seen. And to think how the Craftsman name USED to be so respected. I honestly don't think I would have taken it for free because I couldn't in good conscience sell it to anybody and I sure wouldn't use it.

The result of today's consumer market I guess.

I'm pretty much retired from the forum thing, but I check in every now and then.

Yee, but my point is the machine is sub par. We're not supposed to brand bash so I won't say any more about this.
