1960 Ariens snowthro Reading PA 150.00

I have been lurking here for years but this made me register because I know how you guys love your older Ariens. I hope someone will save this first year classic. It looks in nice shape, , just needs a little carb work. I am not affiliated with this ad I just happened to stumble upon it looking for old Deeres.

It will not let me post a link since it's my first post. I'll post it as soon as I can. In the meantime search in Reading PA

Cool! thanks for the heads-up..yep, its a genuine 1960..condition looks ok, although unfortunately its been repainted, which lowers the value IMO..

$150 is a decent and reasonable price, but probably a touch high, and it might not sell at that price..(the ad has already been up 2 weeks) There are some, but very few people looking for a 1960 Ariens..but the odds of one of those buyers living within driving distance are low..its not really as "collectable" as people think, because demand is actually very very low..but $100 would probably nab a buyer. I'll snag the pics in case the ad disappears.

Thanks for putting the info up. I never like to see older machines go out of service because too often they are set outside to rot and never see action again.
