Thinking about a second blower

After moving into my new house my dad gave me his late 80's John Deere 260 garden tractor with the mower deck, and the snowblower. I was thinking, for next winter anyways, about using the snowblower on the John Deere for the driveway, but the only thing is I'm missing everything apart from the auger/auger housing/ chute. I was wondering if I'd be better off buying a complete used assembly, or finding parts and pieces to rebuild it. Also what other blowers work on this tractor, just to keep things a little easier.

Rebuild that bad boy, or make the parts to complete it.

I did. I like to get as many opinions from as many places as I can, but luck me I found the mounting bracket. Now I just need some pullies, and hardware.
