I received about 4 in better than nothing,

Yep - 4" is better than nothing, but not as good as having 12".

Ahhh, never mind.

I'll take the snow over the cold any day. Snow you move it and you're done with it. Cold you have to live with. Unfortunately it's been more cold than snow this year.

before Christmas we had about 9" on our yard. The week of Christmas it was in the 40's all week and melted most everything. Now it's about 18* and blowing with some flurries.
