Simplicity 828

Hi all, I ran a lot of posts last year about getting my 70's Simplicity 828 running right. Well I gave up on the old tech 8 horse and bought a NOS 10 horse tech. Like a true stupid northerner I installed it and broke it in in august in my driveway and got weird looks from some of my neighbors, but others understood.
For those not familiar, the 828 has a paddle wheel impeller which makes it super effective, resistant to clogs, heavy as dang, and hard to work on. Great machines but not for the faint of heart. Just wanted to say thanks for all the help this forum has given me. I totally owned snow clearing today.

Is it a snowbuster or sno away? I have two repowered 5/24s and an 8/28. All snowbusters. Ones repowered with a predator and works great. Plenty of power and distance. I like the ability to grease everything and them being overbuilt. Curious as to what you may be finding difficult as to maintenance and servicing. Iíve taken a couple of them apart and reassembled. If you need any help feel free to ask. There arenít a lot of us using old Simplicitys.
