Smile Adjustable High Speed Needle Assembly

Just wanted to give a shout out to member waterlooboy2hp. Bought one of his Adjustable High Speed Needle Assemblies and it worked great. My 2007 Cub Cadet SWE524 was previously enjoyed and 8 years old when I bought it for $100. Outside of some grease and oil only things I've replaced were the sparkplug and impellor bearing. Couple of weeks ago the carburetor finally cried uncle. I disassembled it and thoroughly cleaned it but without an ultrasonic cleaner I wasn't going to get every little nook and crannie clean. Bought a carb off eBay for $12 and knowing it was going to be too lean I put the high speed needle in it. It was a total bolt in. Fired it up and adjusted it and haven't looked back. The snowblower probably didn't run this good when it was brand new. Used to go on governor regularly when you really drove into a snow drift, not anymore. Only comes on governor in the deepest wettest snow now. Best $10 I ever spent.

When the spring hits and I'm not soo busy....
You bring or ship me the carburetor and I'll build you an adjustable main jet. Shouldn't be too hard to come up with one. Be glad to take on that challenge.

Got a LCT 291 sitting in the box. I don't know if it will surge or not but an adjustable jet would be a good thing regardless.
