XtremepowerUS Engines

I came across this engine on Amazon, it had some good reviews. I think the first positive review was someone putting it on an older Ariens snow blower. I was wondering if anyone here knows how good or bad these engines are. If you have a Prime account - its free shipping and no sales tax (at least here in New York State)

Looks like just another US distributor for the honda clone engines, Can't find any "made in the USA" labels on it.

Sno-Tek Modded, 15"X-Track tires (Now has same X-Track tires but 13"x4" for better fit), 254cc engine LED light and hand warmers.
Snapper 6/22 sold but not forgotten. Was my first.
Ariens ST1027LE workhorse and going strong.
New 2017 Ariens Deluxe completely rebuilt after losing a fight with a forklift.

At $140, and 196cc's, it makes me wonder. If you have a Harbor Freight nearby, their 212cc Predator (another Honda clone, like this one presumably is) is often $99.

I just checked, and the Predator is currently $120, but their sales are fairly frequent. Ground shipping to my location is listed as $7.

With a sale, and especially without shipping, I guess I'd need a somewhat specific reason to pay more for a smaller engine with less online support (as in, fewer users for asking questions). If you can buy locally, you can also bring it back to the store, if you had a problem. Shipping an engine back to Amazon would be more difficult.

(Side note, how can they possibly ship a whole engine for $7?? If you buy a gasket or similar small item from an online OPE parts dealer, you'll often pay about $7 shipping as a minimum S/H cost for the order)

Its most likely a Rato made Honda clone the same company that makes the non hemi Predator 212cc. It is definitely not made in the USA 100%.
You are much better off getting the rato Predator 212. They are all black and look good on anything you put them on and have built a stand up reputation as good, powerful, reliable engines.
Their are $99.99 coupons circulating right now for Predators at HF.
In fact here, this coupon is good for the Predator 212 for $99.99 until February 28th 2018
The coupons bar code number is 17079246.
You can go to harbor Freight.com and when you go to purchase the predator 212 enter that coupon number and you will get it for $99.99
You will have the choice to go pick it up at your local harbor freight for that price after you buy it, or have it shipped and I think shipping is free, if not it is very cheap, under 10 bucks.
For the last 8 months the Predator 212cc coupons have kept circulating without having out least one continue to be good, until the next one is printed.
If people would like, the next predator coupon I get after this one expires I will put it up, so people can keep getting the deal after this one expires.
