This thread gives me a place to vent when I need to
Like today , I am pretty sure ny is the stupidest state in the country
Only ny would go and spend 50 million of our taxpayer dollars on a bunch of stupid tow-plows that only go 35 mph tops . Nothing like driving along on a 4 lane @ 70 with the traffic only to all of a sudden have to slow down to 30 along with cars backed up as far as the eye can see as people are on their way to work. Not bad if it's only a few miles and then back up to speed , really sucks when it is 20 miles . :icon _cussing_black::icon_cussing_b lack:

OK got that outta my system

Can you just replace the tubes or do you need a new fixture or ballast ?

Same fixture you just remove the ballast. These LED tubes run on 117 Volt AC.

at least they plow, here in the motorcity they act like they don't know what a plow is for. some streets around here are untouched days after the storm has passed. most times only two lines are cleared on a three lane expressway or I guess they ran out of " plow " cause the third land is only done for a few miles then its snow covered again

If it was snowing I would've understood. The temp was 34 F , no snow in the air and certainly none sticking to the roads . All they were doing was pretreating the roads because temps were to drop to 28 over the course of the sunny day. A single truck for the highway and the second ( that they use anyway for on / off ramps would have been more that enough during morning rush hour. I think they just want the drivers to get the experience and hours in on the new plows. That is fine with me , but one hour later and 80% of the traffic would have been at work. Practice then.
