Toro Powershift Trans checklist

My buddy is going to look at a mint powershift this weekend...and probably dragging me along.

What do you PS guys look for in the tranny department?

(Aside from whether or not the powershift engages/disengages and whether or not it goes in/out of all of the gears) are there any other transmission "health" screenings that we can do on-site?

TIA!

The only advice I have is to check the shifting in all the gears, and try out the Powershift mode...no telling condition of the internals except by how it acts.

"YO" BROTHER CC. Take your grubby little paw and check for slop in the Input bearing. You know the 1 it has a big gold looking shiny disk that a belt rides on it. and check the spikey little gear DO HICKEY on the side also. and see if that barks up your tree one way or another.

Long LIVE THE POWERSHIFT!! MAY IT NEVER RUST IN PEACE!!
