The buying season is starting

Seen a Sno-Tek for sale a month or so back for $300 I think and had AWD doesn't work LOL and this weekend I seen it again with a lower price so I wrote and asked what exactly AWD is??? Well it's exactly as it sounds LOL Yes he literally said "ALL WHEEL DRIVE" stopped working but everything else worked, So I asked is it just the tires don't spin and he said they don't work at all and when he enguages it nothing at all happens and the wheel still free spin. Not knowing much of actual condition I offered $125 due to the fact it may need a gear set and who knows what else. And he said $150 and it's mine so I went to pick it up, When putting it in my truck I noticed falling out there was a HUGE packing of a mouse house in there, And was I right. The entire body was full and packed in there but with rubber gloves got it out then hosed it all out. Non the less it appears he likes to shift on the fly LOL You'll see in the pics but none the less it started first pull and augers work well and looks slightly neglected but not very used at all. A part that cost $17 shipped on the way and a little work and this will be ready to sell.

AND where the mouse set up his condo, And the repair needed

AH and I forgot I DID take a pic of the condo LOL

Sno-Tek Modded, 15"X-Track tires (Now has same X-Track tires but 13"x4" for better fit), 254cc engine LED light and hand warmers.
Snapper 6/22 sold but not forgotten. Was my first.
Ariens ST1027LE workhorse and going strong.
New 2017 Ariens Deluxe completely rebuilt after losing a fight with a forklift.

A shift on the fly guy for sure! I had a machine come back on me last year after one storm where the guy was a shift on the fly guy too. I put the rubber back on ( it was an MTD with the donut) but the aluminum drive disc was toast.......to bad for him.....

Wow, great find!

Dauntae, your Sno Tek looks barely used! That's quite a mouse condo, though.

Do you guys buy in the spring, fix 'em up, and store them until selling in winter?

Thatís what I usually do but I donít sell as much as some, This is more of my hobby that gives me a little play money, I usually store and repair 3-4 at most but by fall I seem to collect more lol OH that mouse Condo also had a penthouse level, The belt cover was also full lol Will be pulling the engine off to give it all a good cleaning and lube it all as I put it back together.

Once fully gone through and serviced, selling it in the fall gets the higher prices, last fall I sold one in about the same condition for $400 so between $350-$400 will be what Iíll try to get but will be fully serviced and ready to blow snow, May need belts too depending on what the mice decided to chew on.
