Is it new? Replacing the carb on a new machine would seem odd to me, but I don't know anything about these carbs. My suggestion would be to try and find a carb with adjustable jets, if possible. Also a carb drain, ideally.

Iíve bought 10 or more aftermarket amazon carbs, brand didnít matter to me, they all worked great. Use non-ethanol fuel when storing and stabil 360 adative to fight any corrosion.

if it is brand new there is likely nothing wrong with the carb that is on it. if you got access to ethanol free fuel that would likely help keep it healthy along with running it out of fuel at the end of the season. if you got some 2 stroke equipment putting a bit of 2 stroke gas in it and then running it dry at the end of the season probably wouldn't hurt either.

i think i have read on here of people modifying old adjustable jets to work on new machines along with drilling out the main jet so it won't restrict things but never tried it myself. i think you got to re thread the adjustable jet to metric

the carbs used on them are similar to the brigs and almost any other honda knock off design engine. the adjustable jets all work the same so it would not really be hard to make another one work similar.

Garage
if you use ethanol free gas and/or a good gas stabilizer and drain at end of season where would corrosion come in?
