It's easy... or should I say E-Z lol.

ZE = electric starter
ZR = recoil starter

I bought a 418 ZE earlier this year just to see what it was like. I added a new scraper bar and stainless mounting hardware for it. As long as you're not asking to tackle the EOD pile, it does the job.

I have one - throws the slush at the end of driveway beautifully. 4 hp is enough when there's no transmission or huge weight to move around as well.

Cool, enjoy it!

I have a 221 (2-stroke 139cc, 21"), I was very happy with my limited chances to use it this winter. It did seem to have a bit of a sweet spot, of course. It was awesome with the 3" fluffy storms, it cleared as fast as I could walk. I like the Quick Shoot control.

But when we had 7" of wet heavy stuff, I had to slow down some (especially where previously-thrown snow had landed), and it struggled with the packed EOD from the plows. I had to go back that night and clear the EOD with the 2-stage.

I'm curious how it will do next year, I'm hoping for more chances to use it in decent (6+") storms. With the right snow, it's awesome. Cleared right down to pavement (even when we'd driven over the snow), and did it quickly, while also being easy to maneuver. I really like the idea of a good-performing single-stage, if space permits. Finding a good deal on a 721 (preferably with Quick Shoot) would be very nice.
