Nothing Like a Freebie!

Got This Freebie Today. PO didn't have a clue, and tried working on the carb. I got it running, and now everything works except missing headlight. Should clean up nicely.

It's that time of year. People look at me sideways when I tell them I am more busy with snowblowers in summer than in winter. projects pile up during winter when I am helping people get their blowers back up and running and a lot of late people who want services.

a lot of my summer work is for the real rough stuff that needs welding, cleaning up , carb rebuilds , refurbishing . etc. Even in the heart of summer it is still abound 25-30 degrees in morning and I wait until around 11 a.m to start doing stuff. I only work 2-3 hours a day until it's beer o'clock.

but I did get a free HS828 last year that I am looking forward to working on. the free Honda's are very rare. I have a craftsman , a snowflite , and a Gilson that I got for free in the last couple months. Going to repair and give away but am going to sell the Gilson which is a 1974 model I believe and built like a friggin tank.

wife is bugging me about getting rid of stuff. lucky i don't get rid of her but in Cali that is an expensive proposition......

That appears to be in nice shape paint-wise.

went through one of those in the fall, Good machine and the new owner loves it. I traded it for the ST11526 I am currently rebuilding for myself

Sno-Tek Modded, 15"X-Track tires (Now has same X-Track tires but 13"x4" for better fit), 254cc engine LED light and hand warmers.
Snapper 6/22 sold but not forgotten. Was my first.
Ariens ST1027LE workhorse and going strong.
New 2017 Ariens Deluxe completely rebuilt after losing a fight with a forklift.

I'm sure a "FREE" sign on the side walk will make it go away, I actually just dropped off 700lbs of old snow blowers and lawn mowers at the local scrap metal place, Only got $40 but better than paying
