How hot is it where you live?

Well today we will be in or around the 90 degree mark with the humidity in middle to upper 70's. The weather folks say this combination will make it "feel" like 100 degrees around here in the Buffalo, New York area. Plan on getting the dog out for an early walk and got the grass cut yesterday. Only thing I plan on doing outside today is jump in the pool. Many areas will be very steamy today, we are kind of protected by Lake Erie which could be around 73 degrees to assist in keeping the temperatures from getting much higher. Stay cool everyone, drink plenty of water and take breaks if you have too. Watch out for pets, protect them from extended periods in the sun and remember the blacktop/concrete gets very hot so make sure their paws aren't on that surface to long.
Stay cool everyone!

It hit 100 here in Fort Collins yesterday, it's supposed to be ~85 today and tomorrow with a 40% chance of thunderstorms.

Currently 93F/34C in Rochester NY.
Heat index of 100F/38C.

To me, this is the same as a Zero F/ negative 18 C day, with a raging blizzard outside!
Both conditions are equally unfit for my existance outside. I will not step outside between 11am and 6pm today.

But fortunately we only hit 90F/32C a few days a year in Western NY, which is one of the things I love about our climate here. This afternoon will likely be the hottest point of the entire year. Starting Monday we are back to the 70'sF/low 20's C, which is perfect.
