Ariens wheel disconnect

I have an Ariens 724 924038 model with solid differential. Its hard to move the snowblower around. It is possible to add a wheel disconnect to one of the wheels? There were similar models with a wheel differentials that year.

There isn't really something you can add to one of the wheels.

But I don't think converting it to have a differential would be hard, although it would be expensive if you bought all new parts.

Your best bet is probably to find a similar model on Craigslist that's cheap because it has a blown engine or auger gearbox or something, but has the differential, and swap the needed parts over.
