New Ariens Deluxe 24... Stripped threads?

Hey guys!

Took delivery of a brand new Ariens Deluxe 24 last week from a local dealer. Right off the bat it wasn't "balanced"... So I followed the video from Ariens on how to square it up. Still didn't feel quite right, and I discovered that the upper bolt holding the right side of the handle was missing. Got a new bolt from the dealer, but it wouldn't go in... Ended up realizing that some of the the hole threads appear to be stripped. (picture attached). Mind you.. the paint on that hole was missing before I messed with it.

Called the dealer, they took the machine back for repairs, and say to today that they were able to get a bolt to go in, I just must not have been lining it up right. Not my first rodeo, and I successfully took out and replaced the lower bolt, but couldn't get any bolt to take in the upper hole due to the missing threads. My thinking is that you can normally force a bolt in once... But the hole is probably stripped out, and I paid for a new snowblower and want it to be right. Am I overreacting on this? Or is this really not a big deal?
