Possible Ariens Grail Chute Option

I purchased this on flea bay a couple o days ago but it has not arrived yet.
Itís a NOS Gravely tall chute. Though it does not appear to have the rotation gear built in thatís an easy modification!
Iím assuming it will work, but Iíll confirm once it arrives!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Note only after I purchased and posted this did I research the part numbers. The smallest unit these reference appear to be a 36" GEM blower. It is probably to big!!

It still might be worth a try!

I have a newer Ariens chute around with a base that looks much like yours, and a flange with gear teeth I cut off another chute - my original intent was to weld them together. But I noticed the holes in the bottom flange of the chute are the same as those on the flange with the gear teeth. So I'm wondering if with the right combination of longer bolts/screws and washers, the two flanges could just be bolted together? I haven't had time to try it yet... if I ever do I'll report back.

Be alert! America needs more lerts.

Yes, I have done that previously on another 824. No need to weld when 6 holes line up!

I am guessing the diameter is larger for the chute used on a 36-48" bucket but we will find out soon!

Thank you!

It's about 25-1/2" high with the deflector in the full upward position. For comparison, the non-HG chute on my ST824 measures about 18".

This Gravely chute WILL WORK!

Appears to be roughly 26Ē tall.

Current? Part number for chute 03028353 which Jacks shows for $69.95 and deflector 53301800 for $32.95

This may be a way to buy new parts locally!

It appears the deflector I purchased was stamped in reverse to the angle tab is on the wrong end!?

Note remote cable control is $117.25

YMMV

Also the original 924039 deflector is the same size and shape as the new one but it has a handle and the slot for pivoting.
With the addition of one hole in the chute it will function same as it originally did!
Thank you
