Surprise Interchange

Got this Freebie Troybilt, a REAL Troybilt. While Going Through it, Found a Cracked Friction Wheel. Found it to be Identical to Standard Ariens Friction Wheel. Worn Ariens Wheel on Left, Cracked Troybilt on right.

That's great!

Years ago when I got my first Ariens (a 10M-L40 I think) and it needed a friction wheel, I was pleasantly surprised when the one from my Hahn-Eclipse machine I was junking fit perfectly.

~1994 Ariens 924084 (ST1032) "papa bear": restored, re-engined, real nice!
1991 Ariens 924050 (ST824) "mama bear"
Toro PowerCurve 1800 "baby bear"

Be alert! America needs more lerts.

I can confirm that my Bolens 824 also takes the Ariens friction disk.
