Snowstorm really gets people buying

I listed a Troybilt Storm yesterday on Marketplace, and this morning had 27 people asking about it...sold to the first person I contacted. Come on snow!

I posted my Toro 724 a couple weeks ago. No snow in the forecast. I had at least 15 people contact me. (A couple of them tried lowballing me by 50%. I just laughed at them.)

I only have one decent blower left to sell and a co worker wants it and a few single stages and one of those has a buyer also, can’t believe I’m running out so early this year

Sno-Tek Modded, 15"X-Track tires (Now has same X-Track tires but 13"x4" for better fit), 254cc engine LED light and hand warmers.
Snapper 6/22 sold but not forgotten. Was my first.
Ariens ST1027LE workhorse and going strong.
New 2017 Ariens Deluxe completely rebuilt after losing a fight with a forklift.

Yeah, people are such procrastinators on getting things done in their lives. It's always knee-jerk reactionary. I dunno, Home Depot has had quite the array of snow blowers available for sale for months. Why wait? Local shops? Huge inventories, too.

Garage
I got nothing to sell this year . . . sold my 2 orange machines last year before the snow started, kept the red ones for myself. I found the neighbor out shoveling at about 6 AM this morning . . . their snow blower crapped out with the snow from yesterday. An extra machine always seems to come in handy . . . helping neighbors and in case one of my machines craps out

Regards, Ted

That's nice. Would be a godsend if your machine failed, and while you were shoveling, someone showed up with a machine that maybe you could use. Or just helped clear.

I hope everyone can sell what they have available. Maybe the interest is partially because (here in NE) we've suddenly gotten a bunch of snow, at what I would call early in the season.

I wasn't fully in snow mode yet. I usually wait longer before mounting my snow tires, but yesterday and today were pretty slippery, I might put them on sooner than normal.

I just started the blowers this past weekend. Maybe need to slightly adjust the drive linkage on the 2-stage, sometimes first gear wasn't moving much.
