The handlebars look like the same as the ones on lawnmowers!… Like the wheels too!…
My first snowblower was a 1975 Lawn Boy "826" (made by Gilson) which I gave to my daughter when I bought my Brute this year!… Yes, I was still using it for all these years!…

Is that a snow blower or lawn leaf blower? I mean, look at the size of the intake (?) and output (?). Wow.
If you hadn't said "Craftsman" I would have guessed it was homemade. And, perhaps, they kind of were at the very earliest.
If you ask me, this old geezer of a machine should be on display at the Smithsonian <grin>
