$100 hs928

Popped on Facebook Marketplace today to see if there were any newly listed HS724's or auger housings when I saw a post that was 5 minutes old from someone selling a HS928 for $100. Since they were only 30 minutes away from me I messaged them and said I'd be by. The seller was great, and said that since I was the first to reply I could have it, despite her getting offers for double. So I picked it up. The seller said it stopped working, but ran last year. They mentioned that it was running fast and reving before it stopped working, whatever that might mean. They stated that since they're not mechanical, they just wanted to get an easier to use new machine. And since the over all condition is great, and there's compression,I figured it had to be worth at least a $100 in parts. So here's to hoping. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I think I saw the same ad, I'm glad someone here snagged it. It could be the deal of the decade.

it's worth 6-7 times that in parts and more if you can figure out what's wrong.

Holy crap, congrats! I sure wish I'd seen the ad! I would have happily hooked up the trailer today. That sounds awesome, I hope it's a straightforward fix!

And hey, if you get it going, I'll give you a chance to *double* your money! Crisp shiny bills and everything! What can I say? I'm a heck of a guy.
