Who's thinking Spring?!

here in the northeast, snowfall has been hard to find. looking out into early February doesn't bring much hope. We can get walloped with snow through April, but I can't help but start to consider warmer weather activities.

Suppose to be in the 40's and 50's here this weekend so I say bring it on. The older I get the more I dislike the cold. I'd rather mow 2 or 3 times a week than blow snow 2 or 3 times a month.

When we were kids...........long ago, we used to show excitement about the rodent in the classroom on GH day. I still remember the lectures we would get from teachers disclaiming the rodent's prognostication. Heck, we were kids and enjoyed celebrating the day in our own way.

I have six trays of garlic that are sticking up about 2" already. Might be a problem as they should be out in the yard dormant but I didn't get them in when I should have. Nice to see something green compared to the cold, snow covered yard.

I've mentally shifted gears away from snowblowers and getting into chainsaws and mowers......I hope Feb brings us some huge snowfalls so I can try out some of my creations and maybe dump some inventory

Spring still seems far away despite the lower than usual snow level here.

I am still hoping for snow and a chance to use the snowblower. It's six more weeks here before the snow rarely falls.
