Help please pulley geeks !

ok I have a 44 snowblower 2010 on a Deere X320...

The pulleys have one rim bigger than it's opposite rim....(To keep the belt on)..

The dealer told me that all new pulleys are now symmetrical with both rims the same size...I suspect he is kidding me..

What do the blower fans reckon, and where can I buy pulleys with flared rims ? I have googled myself daft and I can't find any..

First photo is not symmetrical... right hand rim is bigger...

2nd photo (the new one), is same both rims..

Both pulleys look like one half is a bigger circumference than the other.

It appears to be an idler pulley, and I can understand the reasoning to keep the belt in the path while not engaged, although I have never seen a pulley manufactured in that configuration.

Yes I would assume itís to keep the belt on the pulley, if it needed to be changed I donít think Iíd put to much thought in replacing with a basic pulley (same on each side) If the orig is hard to find
