Is this a gilson?

"10 HP 32" clearing path. All gear driven. Runs good, but needs a new fuel tank because it leaks at the seam. "

I have enough projects. Not really interested in purchasing. Looks rather rusty anyway. But was just curious since I haven't ever seen a lawn-boy that was this big before.
It looks to be pre Toro days.

Yes, that is a late model Gilson design. It may be Gilson built and branded for LawnBoy or from the year after LawnBoy bought Gilson and was building them for themselves. The following year Toro bought LawnBoy and that was the end of the Gilson designs.

It looks like a 32 inch Gear Drive that would have had a 5 speed Peerless transmission for traction.

Thanks Pete
I figured if anyone knew it would be you.
I had actually forgotten Lawn-boy had purchased Gilson. I just knew Gilson made some Lawn-boy branded snow blowers.
So to be a (Gilson designed) Lawn-boy made by Lawn-boy it would have to be a 1988 model?
