Purchasing a new snowblower

It is time to replace my 1978 Ariens 2 stage snowblower & I am not sure what to do. Having a machine last 36 years makes me want to purchase the same brand. On the other hand, technology has changed so much that I am wondering of there is another brand I should consider. The machine I have now is 21" wide and about 15" depth but I would like to step up to 24"-26" wide. I would appreciate anyones thoughts Thank you

Ariens has a very bewildering number of models to choose from. They're good. Toro is good too.

A few more details about where you live and the size of your driveway would certainly help with snowblower recommendations. Any insight into average snowfall in your area would also help. Lots of great brands to choose from. Honda, Toro, Ariens, Simplicity would be at the top of my list

2009 Honda HS928WAS
2005 Honda HS520AS
1996 Honda HS621AS
2012 Toro 1800 Power-Curve

I live on Long Island, NY. The Ariens has performed great and lasted so long. I'm just curious if I could expect the same longevity from other brands or if I should stick with Ariens.

2015 Ariens Path Pro SS-21 # 938033
2010 Toro 1800 Power curve (electric, for the deck)

just purchased a toro 826oxe have not used it yet but looks like a beast, ariens new auto turn bothered me a little and they all seem to have different shoot controls or location, really like the looks of the toro quick stick shoot, can't really go wrong with either go and try them out that's what I did. good luck
