Definitely shows signs of being repainted.

Please direct all snow blower questions to the forums and not to me with PMs.

It is a Simplicity, but it is not repainted!
Simplicity did in fact made some snowblowers for Deutz-Allis:

Deutz-Allis snowblower - Google Search

This particular snowblower in Deutz-Allis green is probably very rare, although underneath the paint it's a more common Simplicity "Pro" model..IMO, assuming everything works, $300 is a good deal..

I think that bucket, auger, wheels, and chute, have been retouched. The handles have the usual expected wear and tear, but that front end is pristine. Nonetheless, at this time of the year, for a genuinely solid machine, that is a good price.

May need a set of chains though.

Garage:
MTD....2 stage(modern 8.5 HP) not my favorite
Honda HS622 TA-B - acquired at an auction- nice machine for it's size.
Toro S-140- Picked it up on trash day... it runs, sort of.
Yamaha YS 240 TB "Ricky" latest Craigslist find- on the bench now.

Technically it is in Michigan but Menominee is right on the border of Wisconsin.

Allis Chalmers owned Simplicity for a number of years and the machines were heavily branded as such. The A-C units were yellow & white. Eventually Simplicity employees bought the company back and probably continued to do some branded units for then Duetz-Allis. I had never seen these latter colors.
