Dosen't the picture show that the kit piece was installed behind the impeller, instead on the outer circumference of the blade? Or amI seeing it wrong.

It's an odd shallow impeller. The second picture is a more recognizable view. With those stubby blades you only need 1/2 a kit!

Thirty bucks for 8 screws 4 small chunks of sheet metal and a bit of bailer belt from Fleet Farm or a farm supply store !! I think the baler belt was $6 for a chunk the size to do three machines.
That ranks right up there with that $45 snow blower oil change.

If I had a way to cut metal rapidly I'd undercut him by $5 and still make a ton.
