Old Tecumseh starter - application?

Does anyone know what engine(s) this would fit? The engine it was attached to had been in a fire and was melted. There was no shroud and this was all I could grab.

It's stamped Tecumseh on the end cap.

The body is 4 3/8" long and 3" in diameter. The shaft is 2 7/8" long and 3/8" in diameter.

It does work.

Late 60's H60 or H70. I had 1 just like it on my H70 but the PO ruined it.

They also fit on the H50. I have about 6 of them on the shelf. That box on top, has 4 diodes inside to form the rectifier. They are incased in black epoxy and when one diode went bad, the whole box had to be replaced.

I figured out how to gut the box out with a carbide end mill, and rebuild it with a modern 40 amp one piece rectifier. Had to do that on 3 of the 6. Heavy built units. They weigh almost 6 1/2 lbs. ---- John

Thanks guys. Eyeballing it, it didn't like it'd fit my HM80.
