Trying to figure out what was on that blower

I was walking by the local hardware store the other day and saw an older 2-stage sitting for sale among the other blowers. But this one was different, it had a tiny little chute, and in the front of the the blower it looked like another auger and chute attached to that. I wish I had taken a pic but I didn't have my phone with me. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

I believe Topher was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the elusive "Craftsman manufactured by Toro" snow blower otherwise known as the 924 Unobtainium. Not to be confused with Ariens 924 Platinum.

WOW that is a cool link!!

I had a Early 60's Sears / Homco. It had a 3 hp Briggs under the 'hood'. That thing could drill a tunnel into ice. Sadly... the ex wife put it to the curb during the divorce. She had no clue 20 yrs ago and still does not.

I like driving past her place, and see that "her" driveway was shoveled.

Something on the order of this:

Probably some form of 3 stage blower. Craftsman had them, Snow Shark and some others.

Definitely get a picture if you want further info on whatever it is.
