New Platinum 30 SHO first use (finally)

So after 2 months of research, I finally decided on the 30sho... Picked it up in November. And after 2 months of staring at it,adding a few add ons, waxing it... I final got my chance to use it yesterday.

Monday snow was finally in the forecast (Indy)... Heard 1-3, 3-5, 5-8, 4-7, you know how that goes... Anyway I'm just like give me 4" atleast 4"! So Tuesday morning at 5:30 I jump out of bed like a kid at Christmas, go straight to the window...... And a whole 2"! I was bummed. At first I'm like that's not even worth it,then I said to myself, no... I have been waiting two months to use this thing, I'm gonna do it!

So needless to say I got me my first little practice run. Did most of my road before the plow comes thru ( always one of last roads). And 7 driveways. And probably a lot of drivers going by thinking what the heck is this guy doing snowblowing the road with barely any snow! Well I did it cause I loved it! As much fun as I had hoped. And even with just 2" it actually threw it pretty far. Machine did great for me. My only complaint ( other than snow amount) was 5th and 6th gear could be faster I think. Not much difference between the two. And had heard a lot of complaints about the headlight shinning in eyes, even with the factory decal on it. It was still dark when I started and, and the light was just fine I thought. Anyway cant wait to use this beast as much as I can!

That's Vailen. He is a member here. That's a he11 of a set up he has, but running a battery helps that set up.

Those of us with out a true 12 volt system are very limited.
