Fair price?

Just found this on our version of Craig's List. What kind of price would be good for this. Noticed in the pic that starter cord is gone...

It looks like a reasonable price if it runs well. The added bonus is the optional alternator mounted on the pull start. I have seen the alternators alone go for $75. Some members would rather put the money towards a Princess Auto Honda clone engine.

Toro 8/24 (38080) 1989
Toro 721-QZR (38743) 2015 (Hemi Predator Power)
Toro (51984) Hand Held Blower (For the light stuff)

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

yes it's missing a major component, the pull start.
it will work with the electric start..but what if the electric start breaks down?
with it being "incomplete" like that, I would put a value of $40 (US$) on it.

If everything was there and worked, $75 would be reasonable..
but not in the state its in.

Scot

I was wondering what that was... never seen one mounted there.

Garage:
MTD....2 stage(modern 8.5 HP) not my favorite
Honda HS622 TA-B - acquired at an auction- nice machine for it's size.
Toro S-140- Picked it up on trash day... it runs, sort of.
Yamaha YS 240 TB "Ricky" latest Craigslist find- on the bench now.
