Nice attachments. Too bad that did not catch on with the parts. I guess like Scott said it may have been too much work to switch out attachments. I could use a good leaf vac in the fall especially at my cabin.

I don't know I don't actually own an Ariens product. Personally I think it was a very good idea for Ariens to try this. From what I heard it wasn't a great seller for the company though

Never underestimate the laziness or ignorance of the general public!

I can easily believe that 90% of homeowners would prefer to have a separate snowblower and a separate lawnmower, than remove two bolts and switch the attachments.

Those do look nice, nice find Ray!

I LOVE My VAC attachment and have used it the past two falls. That thing shreds the **** out of leaves makes some nice mulch it's so fine. Mine looks about as good as the one on ebay, still has the original logo's etc.

You make it sound so simple...I don't think the two bolts was the problem, I think it was lack of forethought about where to stash a 200LB immovable object once the two bolts are removed, that caused most of the problem.

My theory on the attachments, especially the lawn mower attachment is that most likely the vast majority of Ariens customers had a pretty decent mower already. A mower is usually a necessity when owning a home. I can't believe that a future Ariens snow blower owner had bought a piece of junk mower and then decided to buy an Ariens snow blower. The Ariens customer realized the benefits of quality and had already bought a quality mower. Without the mower attachment selling well that in itself doomed the attachments.
