That's a fair price for an HS624 which appears to be in pretty good condition. Offer $500 cash and see if you can score it.

HAR HAR! That's pretty good, William. Heck. If I'd keep all the snowblowers I've bought in the past year we'd be in really close competition. I have three presently and I can think of 7 right off the bat that I've sold.

Another thing to look for are the shear bolts being correct. They have a unique "I O" looking symbol on them.

I would also pay particular attention to paint loss in the bucket, chute, auger and impeller. It was interesting that the poster, did not show those parts.

Garage:
MTD....2 stage(modern 8.5 HP) not my favorite
Honda HS622 TA-B - acquired at an auction- nice machine for it's size.
Toro S-140- Picked it up on trash day... it runs, sort of.
Yamaha YS 240 TB "Ricky" latest Craigslist find- on the bench now.

Yes. As long as that engine is in good shape then that is a great price. That is a $2000 machine brand new

Actually list is $2300 new. I bought the wheeled 724 about 3 weeks ago.
Had to special order it since dealers here in central Illinois don't stock them.
Bought mine from a local construction supplier and he took $150 off for me which was better than nothing. It sure is painful to pay that kind of $$ for one but, hopefully it will last me the rest of my lifetime.

Went to one dealer to order one and told me I would be better off buying the Toro he had on the floor. He obviously didn't want to take my money.
