First legit two stage. How hi scraper?

So i got the sno-tek 24" from home depot. Runs like a champ. I dont have the most even driveway, walkway or sidewalk and the machine seems to get a bit hung up on the larger unevens. Should I raise the scraper? I tried but then it seems some areas were leaving snow behind so I put it back. I guess you can't win them all. Any thoughts?

Folks wiser than me use a couple of paint stirring sticks to set the blade clearance for hard surfaces. I have two of those and another set of 1" sticks for my gravel. I put one of those loose leaf rings through each set and they hang on the handlebars so they are always handy.

Raise it until you stop snagging on your pavement.

might not be the scraper bar but that the skids need upgrading to armor skids so the machine will ride up over uneven pavement
