Possbile 2nd blower purchase...

I need a 2nd blower for back up also something to tinker with. I found this on Craigslist but have yet to find a bucket to use as parts. I know JD used simillar buckets for a short time but Im having trouble finding one. What are you thoughts on this.

It looks rough but for 150 (which I could prob get it for) It may be a deal.

A little background on me I am mechanically inclined, do have time and space to work on it, and also have a 220 mig welder.

Ariens 8/26 snow blower needs bucket

I've bought better for less. I'd keep looking. Just be patient and a deal will come along.

This one might be the perfect project machine for you. Nice size for a back-up blower. Based on the cosmetic condition, I'd say $150-$175 is about right.

Let me know if you pass on the Ariens 624E, I'm thinking that machine might make a great father-son project now that pinewood derby season is officially over.

Dude! You must be board out of your mind. For that kind of coin there are fully functioning70's, 80's, 90's machines. Buy one of those and if you get board tear it down, strip the paint and rebuild. Stay away from that machine you showed us.
