Shear pins from Amazon

Hi all,

I bought a set of 10 shear pins from Amazon for my Ariens.
They appear to be correct but my concern is the nuts on my current ones appear to have nylon inserts or something to keep them from loosening.

The ones from Amazon do not. Is this a problem, or do they have binding threads or something?

I think these were the ones I went with.

If the nuts have the little square dent,as shown in the pic. Then yes they are locking.

Sometimes in an emergency, you can make your own lock nut by taking amregular nut and wacking it with a hammer and flattening it just a little. Crude but effective.
