Ariens Compacr 24 vs Husqvarna STT24 vs Toro PowerMax 724

I am totally new to snow blowers and looking to buy one hoping to get end of season sale prices.

I've read tons of reviews and narrowed it down to these 3 models for residential use. Which do you prefer and why ?
I am in Canada, these list around $1000-$1100 but sale prices are coming in around $825.

Please keep in mind I am probably purchasing a new lawn mower of the same brand when I get the snowblower.

I would look at the Ariens Platinum 24 SHO. The best 24" available from Ariens and may not end up being much more money. Very good engine, heavy duty build, and Auto-turn works excellent once set up.

Ariens Platinum 30 SHO

List is about $800 more to go from the Compact 24 to the Platinum.

Compact 24 - MSRP $1103 SALE: $837
Deluxe 24 - MSRP $1367
Platinum 24 - MSRP $1839

Keep in mind these are Canadian prices & the sale is actually a price match less 10%

For your $800 budget and you want a lawnmower of same brand go with the Toro.

theboss -

I bet you can guess who I would vote for - LOL

I know you will get great advice from the guys on this forum to find the right unit for your needs, but I just want you to know that I am here to answer any questions you might have on either the snow blower or the lawn mower as well. Please reach out in a private message if you have questions.

Ariens wants to make sure we support our customers before, during and after the sale as we know how important that is for you.

Thanks.

Earlier in the season I went out to buy a compact 24 but came home with a 24" SHO but I must say I'm glad I did.

I was Thinking of the Ariens compact 24 but bought Ariens deluxe 24 for $1160 out the door. I bought the Deluxe mainly because of the larger 254cc engine and the 14 inch auger & impeller.

Toro over the Ariens only due to the anti-clog feature on them. The compact 24 is nice though. Like another poster said, if you could go to the 24 SHO then it would be a no-brainer to go with the Ariens.

Stay away from the Husqvarna like the plague.
