6 years old Ariens Platinum 24 model number

I am going to look at a 6 year old Ariens Platinum that has a blown engine first thing tomorrow morning.

There was no picture posted so I am trying to get a better picture of this machine before I arrive.

Does anyone know the model number or model numbers that the 24 inch Platinum came in it? Perhaps Scot?

Thanks guys

I can't find a picture to post. You might have had better luck asking if you posted this in the Ariens sub heading as someone who owns one might post.

Cant find a photo of that specific model, but here are two manuals:

http://apache.ariens.com/manuals/04135800_ENG.pdf

http://apache.ariens.com/manuals/03882800A.pdf

The 921017 was made for four model years, 2010, '11, '12 and '13.
it had two different engines, depending on the year:

Thanks for the information Scot. Its good to know the machine is at most 5 years old. The owner said the engine blew in the last storm so I'll be looking for a replacement if the rest of the machine is worth it.

Are you going to be looking for another Tecumseh OHV?

I think these models actually came with Briggs and Stratton engines. Not sure what I'll go with if I even buy it. All depends on condition.

Was this listed at $150 on CL Boston ?

Posted up Feb 20 (Fri) on CL Boston, appears to be taken down already (Sat).
I was drooling over the post when I saw it. 10 cents on the dollar .
Sounds like a steal. Please keep us posted on this. Thanks.
