Snowblower you wish you still had

What was the one snowblower you regret selling or getting rid of?

Mine is the Toro CCR2500 with the Tecumseh HSK840. That was a nice running unit and since they were only made for 1 year with the Tecumseh engine they are harder to find. The CCR2000,2400,2450,2500,3000,3650 line is my favorite single stage machine, PERIOD.

Snowblowers in the shed. All made in the good ol USA.

Bobcat 28" 2 stage 8hp Briggs
Bobcat 24" 2 stage 7hp Briggs
Bobcat 20" 2 stage repowered with Tecumseh OHH50
Lawnboy Snowboy
Lawnboy Snowboy self propelled
Toro 6000 Rtek Powered
Toro CCR2000 Suzuki Powered
Toro CCR2500 Tecumseh Powered
Toro CCR3650 boxy one, Rtek Powered

My HS621. Had a guy interested, I didn't really want to sell it, quoted him a price I thought he'd never go for, and darned if he bought it without even batting and eye. I should have set it higher.

I'm pretty much retired from the forum thing, but I check in every now and then.

My Yami 626. Was a nice machine.. And only paid $100 for it. 2nd regret was selling a 7hp BobCat- it cut like butter through the snow and never missed a beat. Sold the BC in search of a 8hp model.. never found one.

A hand-me-down 1979 Toro 826. It was a beast to handle, and it would only run on 1/2 choke (my pre tinkering stage) but it would go through anything and not even break a sweat (unlike me using it). Those older Briggs flat heads were really nice engines.

I sold it to a fellow who was doing side work for friends. I got $200 for it, even though it needed choke, the auger didn't disengage, the gas tank was hanging on by a thread, and the pull start didn't work. Now that I know more about repairing OPE, I really wish I'd have kept it.

Toro 3650 2-stroke single stage. Sold it to my brother. Just waiting for the right opportunity to buy it back or "borrow it"...

Regretting junking a 1960's Snowbird that had a couple (not many) parts missing. It was sitting on my dad's garage, and we had to empty the two-story building while we had some masonary work done on the lower level in order to save it.

After joining this website I now know I could have easily restored it and made someone happy. Instead, it's lost to the ages.

Beleive it or not, I do miss my old 1994 MTD 10/24. My dad still has his '95, but I sold mine off in '99 when I moved somewhere I didn't need one for 7 years. It was a good machine, easy to use and plenty of power and throw. Reliable too.

The meltdown is under way ...

Yes indeed ! , I had used a friend's 5hp Bobcat and was really impressed with the capability of that machine. The paddle was incredible. Machine was a tad long, but you get used to that the first time you use it
