Ariens st724 engine swap predator 212

I bought a new motor for this on recommendations but so far there are two issues.
1. The shaft is only 3/4 inch so I found an adaptor that looks like it will work.
2. The motor base on the new motor is 3/4 inch thick and the studs on the blower are not long enough for the new motor.

Any ideas on what to do with the stud length?

Are the studs welded on? Usually I remove studs and buy longer bolts. 1.5-1.75x3/8.

most members tap the short studs out and use bolts, i cut the studs off a bit short and welded extensions on. either way, its par for the course.

Easy swap on that model, no chute crank mods needed, adapt crankshaft to 1", and longer bolts as mentioned by the others.
