Used Blowers

We got a couple of inches nothing worth talking about but its amazing how many used blowers and showing up on Kijiji in our area for sale. Makes you wonder why they would sell a blower with winter starting.

I know a lot of people in my area buy old worn out Snowthrower's,then they tinker with them a little, then resell them for a profit on Craigslist...

Exactly. I watch prices quite a bit on craigslist. I watched the Honda snowblower ads . A couple days ago we got 4 inches but there were 12 inches on the summit. Most of the prices went up 100-200 dollars on the same machines.

People don't think about a blower until they need one and will pay the premium. I would never sell one of my blowers in the off season. I have 2 right now that I am reconditioning and will sell for at least 200-300 dollars more in February or March when we get a lot of snow and people are getting their tax refunds.
