Welcome.to SBF. If you have a Tecumseh engine just get a replacement carb from ebay. Less than $20. Plug and play.

First thing everybody will want to know is make, model and year of the machine, and engine number as well since its an engine part you will be dealing with.

If you have pictures, make sure they show any nameplate information on both the machine and the engine. If you cant get a good photo, then type in the numbers in a post so the experts on older machines can work their magic.

Work fascinates me.

The Jacobsen Imperial 626 can be confusing as they also put a 8hp on it and still called it a 626. No clue why. They also had a 826 and 830 Imperial that were labeled as such but for parts for the machine itself you need the model and maybe serial number off the ID tag.
For a carb or anything engine you really need to post the engine numbers that should be at the top of the engine cooling shroud. Might be under the electric starter plug in/switch assembly. Yup, you'd need to unscrew it as it can be right on top of the numbers. Not the smartest idea but a great place to mount the switch non the less.
