Hi there I am new to the site and I am restoring a 1978 Ariens 32" It seems to be in not bad shape other than lots of paint and I can't tell the horse power of the engine , I'm sure it's eather a 8 or 10 HP because the bucket is so big , I did get the unit for $150 CDN I wondered if you could tell me if that's a good deal I think that's around $115 USD which I thought wasn't bad , the only thing it is missing is the pull cord since it does have electric start , thank you for your help take care now ! you can text me aswell @ 1-519-550-7040 Name is Shane by the way! Cheers !

AFTERNOON: ON YOUR RE-POWER/PAINT PROJECT ON THE '69 MACHINE DID YOU RE-ROUTE THE CHUTE CONTROL ROD? IF SO, WAS IT MUCH OF A JOB? I HAVE AN ARIENS USED U-JOINT AND WISH TO RE-DIRECT THE CRANK ON MY '71 MACHINE SO I DON'T HAVE TO BEND OVER TO WORK IT. THE U-JOINT I HAVE USES SMALL ROLL PINS.

I PICKED UP A NEW, 11.5 HP 342cc B&S INTEC TO GO ON MY PROJECT MACHINE (some project-2 years in the making!! haven't had miserable weather enough to finish...but i am working on it!)

    ANY REPLY APPRECIATED.

I have had two fender benders from people try to go around my dump truck (with spreader in it) while I was backing up. I guess it's hard to see two 4'' backup lights, two rear facing warning lights and a back up alarm.
